In Thai tradition, on important days like New Year’s Day, or other auspicious days, younger generations always pay respect and ask for blessings from their elders. I’d like to ask Luang Phaw the importance of blessings, and how one bestows blessings.
I was introduced to the Dhammakaya Temple because of my occupation as a journalist. I was asked to do a news report on the Dhammakaya Temple. The atmosphere during that time was very serious because there were many negative news reports against the temple. It seemed suspicious to people.

Her brother is a moody guy. When he was a teenager, he preferred to associate with guys who were likely to be womanizing, hunting and fishing. As an adult he likes to drink, flirt and gamble. However, he was the person who ended up taking care of our parents more than the others.
